In-country programs are where UWA sends a group of students overseas for a specific program for which the students gain credit.
They are usually intensive language programs. In-country language study is often part of a non-standard agreement or a stand-alone agreement where a group travel overseas for a short period of time, with no exchange and a specific fee arrangement.
In-country language study may be conducted in three ways:
The In-Country Program proforma and checklist should be submitted to the Director of the International Centre.
For consortium programs, the agreement provided by the consortium should be submitted to the Director of the International Centre with a rationale for its adoption.
The Standard Student Exchange proforma and checklist should be submitted to the International Strategies Sub-Committee on International Agreements, through the Director of the International Centre.
